About Me.
My name is Ernest Winburn. My wife Brenda and I live in Hartsville, South Carolina. For the past 14 years since my retirement, I have served 11 congregations as interim pastor. When I retired in 2009 I was the pastor of First Baptist Church in Rayville, Louisiana where I served for 22 years. Before that I was pastor of Palmetto Baptist Church in South Carolina and Poydras Baptist Church in Poydras, Louisiana. Overall, I pastored three congregations for a total of 41 years first as a bi-vocational pastor and finally as a senior pastor.
This website is a blogging website. I have already written a number of blogs and have as my goal plans to write up to one blog each week. My blogs will be designed to apply biblical truth to the current life situations and issues.
My blogs will mirror my conviction that there is unequalled power and potential in biblical truth. Through the blogs I write I will apply various biblical truths to life. The Bible speaks to life as no other source or voice can speak. I thank you in advance for interest in my blogs.
